@j03l thanks. I searched this word (dictionary, wiki...) and found nothing. As graphy means write, draw in Greek, I was wondering if this word 'porn' bears a meaning of expose / show something quite excessively perhaps...

@Djee-LabZ Finding the meaning from its Greek or Latin roots is a very efficient way to understand almost all words used in regular speech, except those borrowed from slang/ idiomatic words or expressions/those which have disconnected from their roots and mean something else entirely.

Sometimes slang can be spliced onto a formal Greek/Latin sounding root, and I think it is the case with "pornography", but I am not sure.
[The internet search for "pornography roots/etymology" did not go well]
However I did find a new kind of porn though: Word porn, very poetic and my new favorite.

Word Porn= "Deriving pleasure from words" and so on."

Avec 'food porn', cette signification fonctionne très bien aussi.
