@Emma-666 Not really, no. Family members tend to be casual with each other, so we would just say “are you done with your food”, “are you finished eating”, “are you still eating (this)”, etc.

For the first example, “I’m still working on it” implies that you’re having a hard time finishing your food, maybe because you don’t like the food, are getting full, or something else is affecting your appetite. In general, we would just say “no, I’m still eating”.
“I’m still working on it” is natural for the other examples.

If I am a waiter, can I use " Are you still working on it? " to ask if the customer has finished the meal?

@Emma-666 Yes, that would be perfectly natural to say. And I think in that situation, it would be more polite for the person who is eating to say “Yes, I’m still working on it”. Outside of that situation though, if you’re just talking to family or friends, it would be more natural to say “I’m still eating”.
