Question about English (US)

What does She no longer felt like she had to find sole fulfillment as some imaginary perfect daughter or sister or partner or wife or mother or employee or anything other than a human being, orbiting her own purpose, and answerable to herself mean?

I've been reading Midnight Library these days, and this is a sentence that I don't really get. Specifically, the latter half of this sentence that says "orbiting her own purpose, and answerable to herself" is difficult for me to grasp the meaning. Could anyone elaborate it for me?
