You all definitely know the phrase “treat someone for disease or injury”.
e.g. He was treated for headache.
However, I wonder why “for” is placed in this phrase, though other uses of “for” in other colloquial phrases are understandable for me.
I beg you give me some examples of phrasal verbs using “for” the same way as this.
