1&2: it depends on the medicine. We usually say the name of the medicine (Ex. Take 2 Advils 💊💊)
3: you can use any of these pens. You can use any pen
4: I don’t like any bugs. I don’t like bugs

Yes: 2 tablets (but usually we don’t use that word. Instead we use the name of the medicine)
No: 2 powders.

You can use some pens.
You can use several pens.
"Some" is more general. "Several" is also kind of general, but it is more specific than "some."
