"It's not a good look" means "to be seen doing that will make you look bad".
For example:
A: Why shouldn't I accept that watch from James?
B: His wife just left him. He was spending their money on champagne and strippers. And now he's almost too drunk to stand. If you accept a gift from him in that situation? It's not a good look for you.
