What do you mean by “fruit?” I don’t understand sorry

@tabeh0udai I mean "fruit" is mango and its sentence is "This fruit is used in both states, ripe and unripe." I read it on a website and idk why after "is" is the verb 2 like "used" is the past tense of "use", I think it should be "using".
