I use cut in line. You could say "jump ahead in line" though.

Do you mean jump THE line? (Same meaning as cut in line?)
She was in a hurry and she tried to jump the line.
He was in a hurry and he tried to cut in line.
Jump in line can mean to simply get in line.
Can you wait for me? I’m going to jump in line for tickets.
Of the first two, I usually use cut in line.
