Consistency is how solid something is. A slurry increases consistency.

I learned something new today! I'm a native speaker, and in my 31 years alive, I never knew the word "slurry". Maybe I learned it at one point while studying, but it's not really in my vocabulary. I've never had the opportunity to work with it in the kitchen.

theを使うと、動画が一つしかない状況になります。
例えばこの会話に料理の動画の話が既に出ていたら、そこから the と言ってもいいんですが、
読み手（聞き手）の僕がどの動画のことか知らないので a cooking video （「とある動画」というような感覚）が相応しい表現です。

わたしの中では分かってる動画でも、まだ会話に出てない場合は a videoでないとおかしいのですね。

感覚なので！
同じ冠詞を使う言語でも、スペイン語の「冠詞をつける・つけない」「un/a か el/the] 「単数・複数」の使い分けの感覚が微妙に英語のとずれているので、アメリカの学校によっては、スペイン語の授業では1年生のうちは不自然な使い方をしたら、正されるけど減点はされないと聞きます。
日本の英語教育もそうだったらいいのにって心から思ってます。
経験がなければ分かるはずがないのにそこにこだわるから皆さん英語に苦手意識を持ってしまうのではないかと思います。（冠詞だけではないんですが。）
