The second option is correct: "IN this article". When something is contained in something bigger, we use IN. So you have a page in a book, a scene in a movie, a word in a sentence, a room in a house, etc

Depending on the context, both are correct. In your first sentence, ON could mean that external data RELATING to the article is available. The second sentence concerns data that is actually present WITHIN the article itself.
