I think it would be 日本語の勉強するのが大好きです。
I'm a beginner, but I think using "no" to make "benkyousuru" a noun is more natural than using "koto"

@sasakitoshio why is が used instead of は in this instance?

@sasakitoshio Would my option sound strange?

@bobpl I googled for you! lol
"ga" can tie the subject and its predicate more closely than "ha" can. I will give at least three evidences for this. First, this accounts for the fact that in "ha-ga" construction "ha" is in many cases followed by "ga", and usually not vice versa: "ga" is more closely related to the predicate; "ha" less. Moreover, it also can explain the fact that when a wh-phrase occurs in the subject position of a matrix clause, its particle must be marked as "ga" and not "ha" (cf. Korean cases for inverted selections). Subject wh-phrases must be involved in a single sentence (or more strictly a single clause). Further, "ha"-subjects can be interpreted as those out of the predicate clause, while "ga"-subject in it. I therefore conclude that the differences between "ha" and "ga" can be attributed to the relation between subject and its predicate, how closely related, more than simply how emphasized a particular argument is.
