counsellor is more someone who you talk to when you are feeling stressed/worried, slightly like a therapist

Different camps will use different names - like 12jevans said, helper, worker and leader are all used. Some camps will use the word "counsellor", the leaders will be called "camp counsellors" :)
But counsellor can also mean like a therapist but would be different context than summer camp :)
