Here in London, we might say (for teenagers, it may be more common) "You're going to kill it/ that game!"

I've never heard this usage (On the other hand, I'm old, so you never know! (笑)).
However, there is a different slang usage for "slay" (unlike the original meaning of "kill"), which means "to overwhelm/impress". It's usually used from the receiver's perspective, "you slay me" as opposed to from the slayer's perspective.
Ex:
A: So, the duck says, "just put it on my bill!"
B: hahaha, you slay me, man! (I'm overwhelmed with amusement at your funny joke).
Interestingly, though I would not say, "I slayed it!" when referring to do something well, "I killed it" does sound fine.
A: How did you do on last night's test?
B: I killed it! (I did exceptionally well.)
There may be age/regional differences, of course...
