In Japan,generally
Like You could say "私はハーフです"

In addition
e.g) You can also say
"私は日本人とアメリカ人のハーフです"　＝I'm mixed with American and Japanese.

ちなみに皆さんの言うとおり、　英語でいうmixed raceの人は、一般的に和製英語でハーフ(half)といいます。　：）　

"半分日本人です"、　というか　"ハーフです" 、というかは、

個人の好みと、あと文脈によるかもしれません。
