On Sunday, '今度の週末' is the same as '来週末' and it indicate the different days from '今週末' or '今週の週末'.
実際は、もちろんSundayだけじゃなくて、Saturdayでもそうです。
今度の週末（次の週末） 'next weekend'. 今週末（今週の週末） 'this weekend'. 来週末（来週の週末） 'the weekend of next week'.
始めからこう言ったほうが早かったですね。
「と」と「とは」の違いですよね。
これは「は」と「が」の違いのように、説明するのは難しいです。
かなり文脈に依存するので「こういう意味」とは言えません。
ついでにその文も直しておきますね（気を悪くしないでくださいね、意味は分かりますから立派です）。

Whatever, I think 今週末は、英語を見たいです。 is better, more natural way to say.
If you said "今度の週末は": You've tried going to English(as you mentioned) at the weekend many times, but you have kept failing, as you got to do your job, somebody visited you, or whatever annoyed your planning.
So it implies your will, "IN THIS WEEKEND I'LL DEFINITELY COMPLETE MY MISSION!".
Well, it's O.K. if you mean it.

「今週末」と同じ意味なのは「今度の週末」じゃなくて「今週の週末」かな。
今度の週末は次の週末と同じ意味で、日曜日では「今度の週末」は「来週末」のことで「今週末」「今週の週末」とは違う日を指す。

例：
分かりにくくて（分からなかった）。（だから）もう一度言ってください。
行きたいんだけど、忙しくて（行けない）。
勉強した方がいいのは分かってるんだけど、難しくて（できない）。（だから）教えてくれない？
～って。になることもあります。忙しくって。難しくって。
