Question about English (US)

It is because I was moved by a documentary of Polish orphans detained in Siberia one hundred years ago. Although I was impressed by the support from Japanese government, I was more impressed by Polish people who have never forgotten their appreciation to Japan. And it is because Polish families invited and took care of Japanese children to heal their traumatized mind after they had lost their parents by the horrible earthquake. And it is also because I watched a video of the Warszawa uprising. Does this sound natural?
