"You and I" is proper grammar, however people often say "you and me". They mean the same thing ☺

You and I is correct officially. People use both when speaking casually. Eg. "You and I are going shopping in an hour."

You and I is proper. I often use the second one but will say "me and you" instead of "you and me"

The when to use "you and I" versus "you and me" depends on the sentence; a good rule of thumb is if you remove "you" from the sentence to see how it sounds.
For example; "Thanks for having Levi and I for dinner." If you remove Levi, it would be "Thanks for having I for dinner" which sounds wrong. So it would be "Thanks for having Levi and me for dinner"
