She's doing it A LOT. Like, to the point of rudeness and narcissism. She's talking herself up to make herself look better than everyone else.
If you wanted to take the phrase literally, reach around and pat yourself on the back for an hour and see how your hand feels at the end of that time. (Don't actually try that, you could really hurt yourself.)
But 'wearing (something) out' means to use it until it is broken or unusable. So, a lot.
