Question about English (US)
I want to say " almost" , "about", "approximately" yet "more than" in my examples:
1- I arrived there at 10-odd o'clock (a little later than 10)
2- I have 10-odd books on history. ( more than 10, maybe 11 or more)
3- She is 40-odd (more than 40 )
All my sentences correct? How would you say my sentences in your own words (informally)?

1- I arrived there at slightly past 10 o'clock.
(~Slightly past 10 o'clock = maybe 10:05, 10:15?;
~Past 10 o'clock = anytime after 10)
2- I have (read) about/more than 10 books on history.
(About = plus minus 10;
More than = 10 plus plus)
3- She is more than/over 40 years old.

I see. Thank you so much, @vivilovescatsncorgi. 😊👍👍💐💐💐
Can I "or so" too?
I arrive there at 10 or so.
I have read 10 books on history or so.
She is 40 or so.
PS:
I had found suffix "odd" in dictionary.
Odd:
› used after a number, especially a number that can be divided by ten, to show that the exact number is not known:
1-I'd say Robert's about 40-odd - maybe 45.
2- He holds another 50-odd acres of land in reserve, providing plenty of room for expansion.

Yes, as for my example ( 10 o'clock) I felt that it seems wierd using odd like that.
