@Qme If you're communicating via email then "I put the information in red" is fine, "include" is a word often used in email:
"I've included (my comments/the information) in red."
Other possible expressions:
"Please see (my comments/the information) in red."
or
"(The information) is shown in red."

"put" is a little vague, did you mean "wrote" or "typed"?
