Bulgeun Mountain has a unique feature: its horseshoe-shaped crater has another round crater inside of it. Indeed, all slopes are covered in a thick forest except the flat land on the halfway point of the southern slope, which is the second crater. In general, a hybrid volcanic mountain has a horseshoe-shaped crater with an opening in a certain direction. Does this sound natural?

@deris79: 'indeed' is unnecessary, and the second sentence has some gaps in logic, as you say 'all slopes are covered in a forest' and then 'except the flat land' which isn't a slope so it is naturally excluded from the first statement. Also, 'In a certain direction' is unnecessary.
