Does anybody know kamernet.nl?
I registered and I'm trying to send a message to a landlord but it won't let me and send me to a premium membership page. Is the site not free? Do you know a different site for finding a room in Groningen ?

I looked the site up and it's a site for students who are looking for a room near their university. I don't know much about it, but I'm guessing you have to be a student to get one of these rooms. I don't know if you are a student, but if you are not, that's probably the reason why it doesn't work.

The reason it doesn't work is because you don't have a premium account. It says that with a premium account, you can respond to advertisements etc. I suggest you look for a different website where you don't have to pay. I personally don't live near Groningen, so I don't know any other site you can use. I wish you good luck with your search!

Thanks. Actually it is for everyone but it takes a premium account to send messages. I also found kamersgroningen.nl . Is it realistic to find a nice room for around 320 ? Not many roommates and not a very old place.

Well I don't think so... I have some friends who study in Groningen and although in Groningen housing is very cheap compared to other parts of the Netherlands, I think you will have to pay 350-400 a month for rent. But for that amount of money you can get 18 square metres or something. I don't know wether you already live in the Netherlands or not, but housing is quite expensive here.
