In this case, what is "the last" meaning?
Very expanses? Or, the last one(there are no expanses rainforest in the world)?
At first, I thought that means "the last one", but there are "one of the" in the sentence. So, I guess there are other expanses rain forests. I'm very confused...

As you said, there are a number of expanses of rainforest remaining. This is one of them, not the last remaining one.

@klauscanth thank you! But, in that case, why "last" is in the sentence? Does it mean "remaining"?

'Expanse' means a very wide stretch of something. 'Expanses of rainforest' means that the rainforest stretched for many many miles/kilometres.
'Last' is used here because may of the rainforests in the world have already been destroyed. Humans have cut them down so farms, cities and towns can be built where rainforests used to be.
