stroll is more of taking a relaxing little walk around, roam has the idea of wandering or exploring an area

@s2s2riki I personally don't use these very often, they sound a bit formal. But stroll can be used instead of walk, like to ask someone "would you like to go for a stroll?". Roam is used more but can give a dramatic sound sometimes like "I'm going to roam around in the park"
