They're not too common here, I probably see one every 1-2 weeks while walking my dog. A lot of people probably wouldn't recognise the breed because they're quite exotic!

In Dublin it would be more common to see Shiba dogs than anywhere else in Ireland I think .
I live in the South of Ireland and I have never come across a shiba dog but I would love to see one! :)
