Question about French (France)

so i know that there are a few exceptions to the rule that the adjective should be behind the noun (e.g. le chat noir / le petit chat) and that one of these are "beauty" and the example given to me was "jolie" but does it apply to all words describing beauty (like ugly, tall, blonde) or only the positives (like "jolie" and "mignon") or only "jolie"?
