Bonfire Night is a celebration to remember a plot to kill the King of England, King James I, in 1605, by a man called Guy Fawkes. The plan failed, but we still remember it by launching fireworks (Fawkes planned to use gunpowder to kill the King, and fireworks have gunpowder in them), and some create a doll of Fawkes and burn it on a fire!

Bonfire night is that one annoying night where you can’t get to sleep because all the idiots around your neighbourhood are shooting the largest, loudest f***ing fireworks into the sky until you become death and judging by experience you’re probably going to be glad that you can’t hear them anymore and all because they’re celebrating a guy that died f***ing centuries ago- f***. — Said by that one girl that u should probably not believe.
