I have a question in the part of "almost not be used".this part should be "almost not used"? "be" is needed?

If the second part were on its own, you would need a form of “be”, in this case “is”: “It is almost never used.” However, since “is” is already present in the first part of the sentence, you don’t need to repeat it in the second part.
