Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)
Question about English (US)

I got a question for past tense of English.

Question as below
1. Two days ago, my wife introduced me a friend who wants to study abroad.
2. Two days ago, my wife introduced me a friend who wanted to study abroad.

I think it might be option 1
"A friend who wants to study abroad" should be a truth, so to choose present tense. If I use "who wanted to study abroad" for past tense, it sounds like the friend doesn't want to study abroad now but just wanted to do it two days ago.

Could you please kindly correct me everything above?
