@marvalencia0907 Ohhh I understand now!๐ "Rein" and "Topics" are last names. So I think that "Reins" might be "Rains" and "Topic/sโ might be "Tarpix/Tarpics" or something like that (it does sound a LOT like "Topics" , but I think it's his British accent)๐๐ So, the sentences mean "Lady Ellen soon found herself married to Waldron Tarpix(?), who is the Lord of another failing house"
"The Rains and Tarpixs (meaning, 'The families') should have sank into obscurity together."๐๐

@marvalencia0907 I'm sorry, but I don't know either. Generally, "Topic" is a synonym for "subject", I've never heard it used this way before. I even Googled it and got no results. My best guess is that "Topic Lord" here, means something like "The one who is in charge of the matters of the house." or maybe something like that. For the second sentence, "topic" makes sense in it's normal meaning, but I am confused by the part about "reins". Could I have more context, please? It may help me to make more sense of it๐
