I appreciate the help but all these still are not quite what I think I am trying to say. It seems like they are all about getting along better. But I need something to say to a new pen pal. Like "I hope we will get to know each other better over time." Or "I hope we can grow to become better friends in the future." I want to add it to my first letter.
