Because "Kinder" is plural. In singular it depends on the article of the word.
Singular would be "Mein lustiges Kind spielt" (das Kind)
Other examples: "Meine lustige Tochter spielt" (die Tochter ) "Mein lustiger Sohn spielt" (der Sohn)

[Meine lustigen Kinder]ᴺᴼᴹ spielen.
[Lustige Kinder]ᴺᴼᴹ spielen.
There are three different inflection patterns for an adjective that accompanies a noun: 'strong', 'weak', 'mixed'. In this example you have the possessive determiner "mein-", which prompts the 'mixed' inflection type. See: http://www.canoo.net/services/OnlineGrammar/Wor...

ok thanks. In this case: KEIN before the adjective (when the noum is plural) I also have to add EN in lustigEN? ex: keine lustigEN kinder
- German
@vickhitomi Yes, exactly.
Es sind [ keine lustigen Kinder ]ᴺᴼᴹ.
(Nominativ because the noun phrase is a predicative of "sein").
Ich sehe [ keine lustigen Kinder ]ᴬᴷᴷ.
(Akkusativ because it is a direct object / Akkusativobjekt of "sehen")
Moreover:
[ keinen lustigen Kindern ]ᴰᴬᵀ
[ keiner lustigen Kinder ]ᴳᴱᴺ
Without any determiner, the strong adjective inflection would apply:
Es sind [ lustige Kinder ]ᴺᴼᴹ.
Ich sehe [ lustige Kinder ]ᴬᴷᴷ.
So etwas gefällt [ lustigen Kindern ]ᴰᴬᵀ meistens sehr.
[ die lachenden Gesichter {lustiger Kinder}ᴳᴱᴺ ]
(genitive attribute describing "Gesichter" )
Ich wünsche dir ein gutes neues Jahr!
