“I can’t wait until the basketball game” ✔️ correct
“I can’t wait still the basketball game” ✖️ incorrect, this makes no sense.
This is how I think until is used:
You use until when you’re continually doing an activity and then stop.
“-wait (activity) until the basketball game” This means you will stop waiting when the basketball game happens.
You can’t use STILL in the same way.
“I’m still waiting for the basketball game” This implies that the person was already waiting, and is continuing to wait.
“I can’t wait still the basketball game” ✖️ incorrect, this makes no sense.
