Question about Japanese

Dear friends.

I am doing a Japanese exercise and there is a sentence "自分の考えでチョコレートを治療に使ってはいけない", I think it means "in our thinking, we must use chocolate in our treatment", am I right ? Could you please help me translate into English and explain why we do it that way for me. Thank you very much.
