"It smells most delicious" is advanced grammar. It kind of means "It smells quite/very delicious" and it sounds very formal/educated. For example: You have been most helpful, thank you! (you have been very helpful...)
It smells 'the' most delicious on the other hand is a superlative statement. For example: You have been the most helpful of everyone, thank you!

@hhhhqqqq, which sentence can't you find? The second one? ("It smells the most delicious"?)
Because I can only interpret that one way... that there is more than one option. For example, there is an apple pie and a cherry pie... "the apple pie smells the most delicious". Sometimes people might omit the "the" in superlative sentences however. For example, "who is (the) fastest?" BUT I would recommend always including the "the" in such cases.
