Personally, Bolivia is a cheap country but the problem with it is that there are certain places that are not safe enough (as well as other Southamerican countries). It would be much better that you bring someone who knows Spanish in order to avoid certain misunderstandings. Hope you visit my country soon! By the way, if you like sceneries and beautiful sights you should visit the occident part of Bolivia (La Paz, Oruro, Potosi) if you want to taste traditional food as well I think the best place would be Cochabamba. And if you are tired of cold weather and just want to know some of amazonian things as well as other cities with beautiful plants and flowers (and typical snacks (called horneados) you should visit Santa Cruz, Beni, Pando.
