Written and Spoken Telugu are quite different. If we speak like how we write, it would be kind of funny. :)

@Chriswood there are two versions of writing just like in English. like Shakespeare style of English and just normal talking English.
now a days the old traditional way of writing has almost gone. usually in news papers or official translations you get to read or write the pure version of Telugu which was also once upon a time the same as spoken Telugu. now we usually write what we speak.
