Please show me how to pronounce ㄷ and ㄹ. They both sound like “d” to me, and I’m having trouble telling them apart. .

ㄹ should be pronounced as R(L)
ㄷ sounds like d
라면 (ramyeon lamyeon)
다음 (daeum)

And may I also tell you that Democratic People's Republic of Korea is North Korea and other Koreans will find it better if you would add Republic of Korea (South Korea) :)
