Question about English (US)
(No.42) On the previous day, Tommy suggested May and he go to New York together and May asked him to let her sleep on it.
May: So, have you got your flight ticket to New York?
Tommy: No, not yet.
May: Okay. What about going to a travel agency together then?
Tommy: Wow, you mean you're gonna come with me?
May: Yup. I've already fully enjoyed my stay in India, and I feel like moving to a new place that is very different from here. New York is a very good destination for me, too.
Tommy: That's so good to hear! Basically I like traveling by myself. But we've happened to stay here together for the last 10 days and I found it's also much fun to travel with good company.
May: Makes two of us.
"different from here"... I think this is grammatically incorrect (since "here" is not a noun), but how can I say it right?
And how can I make this dialogue more natural and casual? I'd appreciate any advice! Does this sound natural?

"Different from here" is fine. Grammatically, everything is good. Maybe leave out the word "flight" in the first sentence.
The only thing that's weird in the dialog is that Tommy is giving mixed signals: He wants May to come with him and is excited when she decides to do so... but immediately starts talking about how he likes to travel alone. It's kind of a jerk move, and a girl with any self-respect should reconsider going with him when he starts talking like that.

@Ritsumei Thank you so much for your advice😊 That's very kind of you.
I tried to say something like "staying with May, I've come to like traveling with company more than by myself."
But now I realized I failed to express what I tried to say it well.

What you said the second time is great. Getting tone right is tough!
