warmth is usually used when you feel the warmness in you.
“I felt the warmth of her breath on me”
“I felt the warmth of the blanket”
“The warmth of the blanket felt nice”
“the warmth of her hands was nice”
and for warm its usually not near you, but around you.
“It’s warm in here”
“Texas is warm”
“Your hands are warm”
