It is uniquely Japanese and not used except for Japanese dishes, so it can be called by it's Japanese name "konnyaku"

@fukugawa, @squidleydeux is right, it's not known outside of Japan.
An old-fashioned translation was "jellied devil's tongue root."
To help people understand, maybe you could say
"konnyaku jelly".
