Is this translation ok?
しかし何年か経つと肉食の禁止に対しては不満が強くなり、この町を去る人が増える一方なので、いつの間にか肉食禁止の方はうやむやになり、よその町で殺した家畜の肉なら、買って食べるも差支へなからうといふことになったさうです。
However, over the course of several years, dissatisfaction became stronger against the prohibition of carnivorous food, due to more people leaving the town, before anyone noticed the carnivorous ban became vague, if the meat came from livestock that had been killed in another town, it was decided that buying it to eat would be allowable.
