Bamiyan is the name of a city in Afghanistan. Bamiyan have popularity for its huge size Buddhist statues which was constructed in six century. Those inestimable statues made of sandstone which was destroyed by the Taliban militants in 2011. Statue maker monks also excavated so many caves in Bamiyan valley. Monks was using those caves for meditation, worship and confinement. Now those caves are using by the 700 Afghan family as home. They are very poor and landless. In 1990 decade when Taliban grabbed Bamiyan city, many families become homeless.
