A little unnatural
1. I left the gym ( Unless you mean you are the owner or a person of authority)
I put a hold on working out. (if you meant stopped for a while)
3. I "delegated" my important job to my assistant.../ I delegate my important "jobs" to my assistant.
4. The new job that you will try for "involves" danger.
(You could say, "The new job that you are trying for is dangerous.")
5. What you said is quite far fetched. (though yours isn't wrong per se.)
6. Let's not haggle over amongst ourselves. (Unless you mean the topic of 'family')

A little unnatural
#1 I wouldn’t use adjourned in this case. I would say I canceled my gym membership.
#3 I delegated my important job to my assistant. Or, I delegated the important assignment/task to my assistant.
#4 The new job that you will attempt will involve a danger element. ...will be dangerous. ...will involve danger.
#6 Let’s not argue amongst the family.
