Question about English (US)

I think that bilinguals are superior to people who can speak only one language like monolinguals. There are two reasons.
First, bilinguals can communicate with people who are from other countries. For example, Japanese people who can speak English can talk with many people in the world.
Second, bilinguals can apply their ability of the language to their jobs: because of the ability, they can be “interpreter”.
In conclusion, I think that the ability to speak many languages improves your possible.
