I did an endoscopy on a cat that ate a string.
But I couldn't find it in his stomach.
After that, he defecated.
The stool included the string. Does this sound natural?

A little unnatural
I did an endoscopy on a cat that ate a string, but I couldn't find it in his stomach. After that, he defecated and the string was found in his stool.
