例:
原付の免許証が欲しいです。経験談やアドバイスを教えてください。
「欲しいです」は文末なので、読点「、」ではなく句点「。」を使います。
「教えて」は丁寧な言い方ではありません。親しい友人などには使えますが、このような場には不適切です。

Thank you so much! So, I should have written “ 免許証が欲しいです、経験とかアドバイスとかをいただけませんか?”
- Japanese
@Dacez You are welcome. But no, it's still incorrect.
You must finish a sentence with 。not 、
。is called 句点 and 、is called 読点. Since 欲しいです is the end of the sentence, you need to use 句点.
とか sounds inappropriate when you talk politely.
You can ask for 経験談, but not 経験. 経験をいただく doesn't make sense. When someone talks about their 経験, it's called 経験談.

I am sorry but you said that 教えて
Isn’t political. However in the example you still said 教えて.
And by the way can you tell me how the Japanese say “or”.
For example: do you want to go to the supermarket or the restaurant?

@Dacez I guess you meant "polite" by "political". Yes, I did. Finishing the request sentence with 教えて is not a polite expression. I didn't say you should not use 教えて in polite sentences though. What I meant was that you should add ください or any other polite expressions to 教えて.
As for the "or" expression, it totally depends on the context. You can't use one Japanese word for any English "or".
But as for your example, や can be used as I did in my example.
And as for your last question, I would say like this.
例:
スーパーマーケットとレストラン、どちらに行きたいですか。
Usually, と is translated into "and", but in this context, it can be considered as "or" in English.

I understood, thank you very much!
So in formal conversation I should use や or と. And in informal conversation とか can be used

- Japanese
@Dacez Yes, you can use とか in informal or casual situations and you can use や and と in polite/formal context safely.

Do you mean “ thank you for giving me a chance to teach you”?
- Japanese
No. You can't say 教えてありがとう because it's incorrect. When you thank someone for teaching you something, you should use 教えてくれて instead of 教えて. くださって is the polite form of くれて.
