- Does this sound natural? A lot of Korean language learners ask questions here and they assume every questions answered are correct. So they start to use some expressions learnt from here and they realize something is not right. Whats wrong here? Frankly speaking, Quite a few Korean dont speak English well. Korean including myself may be good at grammar or spelling, but when we (as average Korean) try to explain something in English, we may lack of clarity. Besides, some English expressions can't be directly translated into Korean expressions For instance, how are you In USA, UK, Australia and so on It is quite common to say that But normally we don't say 안녕하세요 to the stranger you meet on the street. Im good. It could be 잘 지내요. 잘 있습니다. But some of my fellow Korean teach you 좋아요. 착해요. 선해요. Im not saying they should stop helping you guys with Korean language, but what i would like you to do is that please ask same questions at least 3 Korean people and double check if correctly understood.
