This is really my personal opinion, so don't trust fully 🤔

First, 「雲間から洩れる」is grammatically correct. Comparing to 「雲間を」, it's logical. It must be a beautiful scenery but the sentence is simply noting what you see.

「雲間を洩れる」might not be grammatically correct, but doesn't sound awkward (unless it is a language exam). Maybe it's because 光 and 洩れる implies many words which suit 「を」. 「行く、流れる、通りぬける... (unlimited)」This ambiguous atmosphere makes the phrase more literate (「雲間」is already literate. It's hardly understandable if you use it in daily conversations).

These are all my guesses. If anybody says "it's not Japanese", I won't refuse it. But still I think it a nice phrase. Does it make sense?
