Q: Hello! This is my retelling of Chapter 14 of Three men in a boat. Its not full version of the chapter so I wrote only the one I`ve read in my book.
Check please!

This chapter is about friends who cooked an Irish stew. After a walk around the village they decided to go back to one of the Shiplake islands and put up there for the night. It was still early when they got settled and George that,as they had plenty of time they could try to cook an Irish stew.Everybody agreed with his idea.George gathered wood and made a fire and two other friend started to peel the potatoes. They began cheerfully but their light-heartedness was gone by the time the first potatoe was finished.George, seeing it,said that it won`t go and have to be more economy.Eventually, spending around 30 min friends struck saying that it would take whole evening for scraping themselves.
They put potatoes, half a peck of peas, cabbage,a bit of cold boiled bacon, and George found half a tin of potted salmon. In the end,Montmorency, their dog, came back holding a dead water-rat in its mouth.Friends had a discussion as to whether the rat should go in it or not.George said that he had never heard about putting a rat in a stew and would rather to be on the safe side ,and not try experiments. The stew had a great success.Friends had never tried something better that it.It was very nourishing. As George said, the stuff in there was good.
A: Your punctuation is a bit off. There is always a space after "." and ","
Like this, and this. Also the "that" after the first 'George' confuses me, also "two other freind" should be 'two other friends". Potato [singular] doesn't have an 'e' at the end, just "potatoes" [plural].
